Assignment
To review and update current security architecture, policy, and guidelines, and
also to implement sustainable processes and structure whereby security could be
implemented on ongoing IT application and infrastructure projects ensure
compliance with regulatory requirements for information security,
confidentiality, and privacy.
The individual must be an experienced Security Architect who can work with an
external vendors to adapt the selected security methodology framework/processes
and facilitate its implementation.
Specifically, this work will involve:
- Acting as a single point of contact to
co-ordinate and manage all security related activities.
- Coordinating/participation throughout
security review and implementation project;
- Providing quality assurance on security
project deliverables;
- Facilitating review and acceptance of
security project deliverables;
- Project management which would typically
include:
- Project planning
- Tracking and reporting project progress in
accordance with project control processes;
- Issue, change, and risk management;
- Interacting with other staff, outsourcing
service provider, and other system integration vendors.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and understanding of IT security,
including policy, architecture, guidelines, and operational processes;
- Broad based knowledge and experience in IT
application and infrastructure development;
- Business focus, i.e., ability to understand
business objectives, and translate them into technology specific policy,
standards, and processes;
- Ability to work with IT management and
technical staff, corporate audit, business unit staff, and outsourcing
service provider;
- Excellent ability to create and communicate
policy and processes clearly and concisely;
- Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, and
presentation skills.
Duration
- Initial contract for 3 months with potential
for extension.
IT Infrastructure Architect
Assignment
To review and upgrade disaster recovery capabilities for business critical
applications.
Individual must be an experienced infrastructure architect to assist in
implementing the disaster recovery strategy. Specifically, this work will
involve:
- Identify and document business requirements
for disaster recovery enhancements. This normally includes:
- Business Objectives and Requirements
- Problem Definition
- Description of the Current Environment
- Target requirement
- Analyzing solution alternatives, and
developing technical architecture for the selected alternative
- End to end management of competitive
procurement of goods and services, including preparation of related Request
for Proposals;
- Coordinating project delivery, including
interacting with other staff and outsourcing service provider, and other
system integration vendors to resolve architectural issues.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience in disaster
recovery planning and implementation;
- Broad based knowledge and experience with IT
infrastructure architecture and design, including Mainframe, Unix, and
Windows servers, Storage Area Networks, application and data
backup/recovery;
- Business focus, i.e., ability to understand
business objectives, and translate them into technology specific policy,
standards, and processes;
- Ability to work with IT management and
technical staff, corporate audit, business unit staff, and outsourcing
service provider;
- Excellent ability to create and communicate
policy and processes clearly and concisely;
- Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, and
presentation skills.

IT Quality Assurance/Quality Control Analyst
Assignment
To implement a sustainable and proven Quality
Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) methodology framework and associated processes
for IT application and infrastructure projects.
Individual must be an experienced QA Analyst who can work with an external
vendor to adapt the selected QA/QC methodology framework/processes to facilitate
its implementation.
Specifically, this work will involve:

Analyst to support the Merchandising and Finance business teams. In the Analyst

will be responsible for the analysis of market basket, margin, vendor
agreements, inventory, budgets, month end and 5 year forecasting
planning reports. You will be a member of special team projects that will
involve the development and implementation of business
applications in Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel and SQL.
Qualifications:
